YOUR MONEY, WINNING.
Meet the founders of Alpha Bull Canada

WHO WE ARE
Our founders, Matt and Chris, launched Alpha Bull Canada with a single purpose in mind: to provide a more personalized, results-focused alternative to traditional financial institutions. After years of experience in the financial sector, they grew frustrated with the lack of personal connection, high fees, and poor performance that plagued larger firms.
They envisioned something different—a place where clients aren’t just another account number, where service is personal, and where performance is always the priority. At Alpha Bull Canada, we take pride in building lasting relationships with our clients, helping them achieve their goals, and making sure their money is always winning.

ABOUT MATT
I grew up in a small town South of Ottawa, called Metcalfe, ON and graduated from Ottawa University in 2012. I’ve worked as a Financial Advisor since 2017 and have always had a natural affinity for business and investments. My goal is to provide the most competitive, transparent, and cost-effective Estate Planning and Investment Management service in Canada, which focuses on Tax minimization, Growth and Protection.
I don’t do it alone. He specializes in helping individuals, families, and business owners build customized investment strategies that balance growth, stability, and long-term security.
Reid’s path to the financial services industry has been anything but ordinary — and that unique life experience is part of what makes him such a trusted advisor today. Raised on a mixed farm in Brightview, Alberta, Reid learned the value of hard work and adaptability early on. After graduating from Wetaskiwin Composite High School, he spent time as a contract truck driver before pursuing a lifelong dream of living in the mountains. He moved to Lumby, BC, where he operated a dairy farm for four years.
His career then took flight — literally. Reid spent 25 years in aviation, working as a Flying Instructor, Air Traffic Controller, and Corporate Pilot for a manufacturing company in Salmon Arm. While he loved the challenge and precision of flying, he eventually sought a new path where he could combine discipline, strategy, and a people-first approach. In 1994, Reid transitioned into financial services, where he has since built a reputation for guiding clients with clarity, integrity, and long-term vision.
Today, Reid continues to serve as a seasoned Investment Fund Advisor, known for his client-first philosophy and ability to simplify complex financial concepts. He takes the time to truly understand each client’s priorities — whether it’s retirement planning, education funding, or legacy building — and develops strategies that fit both their goals and lifestyle.

Dennis Audette
Senior Financial Consultant
ABOUT DENNIS
I believe in common sense investment strategies for my clients. I am committed to building their financial future with honesty, integrity, and sincerity, along with providing the best of service.
I moved from a small town in Saskatchewan at the age of 18 and in 1976, trained as a service engineer in Pau, France. I have worked in many capacities in the Arctic, Northern Africa, Greece, London (UK), and Calgary, all before I was 27 years of age. I had an innate drive to work for myself and help people ever since I can remember. My business career started in 1979 when my wife and I relocated to Lethbridge and purchased a business. The business grew to include three additional enterprises. After we sold the business in 1998, I was head hunted by a financial securities company to become an Advisor. For the next twenty-four years, my small business experience greatly influenced my capacity as an Advisor. I have helped create wealth and security for several hundred clients and their families. I remain committed to personalized attention to my client’s individual circumstances.

Terry Thompson
Senior Financial Consultant
ABOUT TERRY
I grew up in Toronto and always loved playing football and almost all sports. I have always been competitive in almost everything I do. I enjoy older moves like “A Few Good Men” and appreciate both the acting, but as important the writing for the script. I left home in Grade 11 as my parents chased their dream to own a Marina in Haliburton Ontario. I was very focused on school and ended up graduating from Western University, Ivey business school in 1985. I was hired by Xerox right out of school and spent 36 years working in sales, finance, product marketing and general management. With my family, I was moved to the trouble spots where sales management was lacking and business was declining.
I really enjoy solving problems and using sales process to better understand customers and put opportunities together that benefit both the client and Xerox. After 36 years I retired and within 2 years I found out I was missing the mental stimulation of working with clients. I wanted to share my knowledge on what it really takes to retire. I set up a small business helping family and friends and then joined up with Chris and Matt in Calgary.
I have always worked hard to put the right solution forward and am very interested in demystifying the retire process from income planning to the investing side of it.
